Aspen Black brings two authentic and specific styled shows of original songs to festivals: “Rural Songs” (with folk, Americana, country, and old-time Appalachian influences) and “Cowgirl Songs” (with folk and country influences). Beyond that, she has done demonstrations on a variety of instruments and folk traditions, taught beginner ukulele lessons (providing up to 30 ukuleles for participant use) and led ukulele song circles for all levels of players to join, presented children's programs in the children's area, and in cases of smaller festivals, provided and run sound for herself and others on smaller stages.
