Exploring how music influences visual art expression
Participants will let music influence their initial choice of colors and background, then be guided to respond to a variety of live and recorded original music pieces across many genres, using demonstrated art techniques. Participants then add elements to their background painting (that has now dried) to visually interpret more music, creating a finished "art story" that they are encouraged to share at the end of the workshop.
