ASPEN BLACK

A celebration of Western traditions through original songs and stories inspired by the people, landscapes, and culture of the American West.

Aspen combines years as a champion barrel racer, horse trainer, and certified farrier with extensive travel in the American West to create songs and poems that speak to both those who walk the walk and those who wish they did.  Expect topics to range from historical old west legends to modern horsemanship to landscapes, people, values, traditions, and the changing west.  All songs are written with accuracy in regard to both lived experiences and carefully researched facts.   Aspen travels nationally and calculates travel fees from her last destination, which is often in the mid-west or west.

Aspen also DJ's the popular new radio show, Western Air Waves, with four new broadcasts every week, each ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours!
