Interactive Music Program for Seniors
Golden Oldies Sing-Along Concert features beloved songs from 1950s rock-and-roll, 1960s–1970s folk, old-time bluegrass, and timeless American classics. Aspen performs an energetic concert on guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and sometimes violin with live singing and instrummentation, enhanced by pre-recorded bass and rhythm tracks to fill out the sound. She adds custom-made lyric videos that display words and images in real time on your TV or a screen she provides, making participation easy for all audience members, offering a joyful trip down memory lane while also building community and individual enagagement right in the room!
This program especially resonates with Memory Care residents and Assisted Living Residents, and is also very enjoyable for independent living, senior centers, and activities where families are invited to attend. The standard setlist includes a wide variety of “golden oldies” songs from different genres. Repeat visits include a fresh setlist each time that includes some of the standard favorites along with themed songs to fit current seasons, holidays, or themes you might be doing a certain month.
DURATION: 1 hour. Preferred setup in a room with a TV or facility-owned projector and screen, but Aspen travels with a portable projector and screen if your facility does not have a TV or projector & screen available.

Schedule Aspen monthly (or every other month) for a rotating series of sing-along concerts, featuring themed shows for Valentine's Day (Feb.), St. Patrick's Day (March), July 4th / Patriotic (July), Halloween (Oct.), and Holiday/ Christmas (Dec.), with a combination of favorites and seasonal songs/themes peppered in on the months in between (Jan., April, May, June, August, Sept., Nov.). Plus - if you have special themes during certain months, just tell Aspen and she will adapt her shows to directly support your theme!
