Musical Mysteries
Teens and T'weens
This "choose your own adventure" program lets teens and t'weens pick which 3-5 mysteries to solve! Each group (or individual if a small bunch) is guided through short theatrical mystery stories, working together to role-play characters and uncover key clues. Additional fun comes from how deeply each participant wants to get into the character they are playing or manipulate the props on each clue card they are acting out. Original storytelling and songwriting is the backbone of each scenario, creating a one-of-a-kind experience.

Exploring how music influences visual art expression
Participants will let music influence their initial choice of colors and background, then be guided to respond to a variety of live and recorded original music pieces across many genres, using demonstrated art techniques. Participants then add elements to their background painting (that has now dried) to visually interpret more music, creating a finished "art story" that they are encouraged to share at the end of the workshop.
